Overview

Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy - fast. We raised $100M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lower carbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels. We are building a fully integrated energy company: developing solar, wind, hydrogen projects, real‑time power trading and distributed energy installations, while also creating the Energy Network – a decentralised platform that rewards users with Energy Dollars for smart home usage and grid balancing.

• Design, prototype, and scale new energy products, from idea to delivery, using tools like Python and SQL
• Model physical and financial energy systems: optimise capacity and build business logic for everything from trading to tariffs
• Work closely with engineers and operators to build and launch real-world systems across our energy stack – solar, storage, EVs, hydrogen and beyond
• Deep dive into markets and regulations to break into new geographies – scoping feasibility, operational constraints and cost models
• Own end-to-end delivery of critical projects: from writing Python scripts to running simulations, negotiating with suppliers and iterating based on real-world feedback

• Strong background in engineering, physics, maths or a related field from a top university
• Builder mindset – excited by ambiguity, obsessed with progress and comfortable tackling hard problems
• Systems thinking ability – reasoning across hardware, software, regulation and operations
• Entrepreneurial spirit – strong product intuition and a high sense of ownership
