Det-Tronics has been providing proven flame detection, gas detection and hazard mitigation systems for high-risk processes and critical industrial operations worldwide since 1973. The company designs, manufactures, and commissions certified SIL 2-capable flame and gas detection solutions. Det-Tronics products carry performance and safety certifications from globally recognized third-party testing agencies and approval bodies.

The requirement is for a Project Engineer specialized in Fire & Gas Detection Systems and Field equipment. This hands‑on role may require travel in the Middle East and other countries.

• 10+ years in the Fire & Gas Detection industry (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience generating relevant deliverables.
• Proficient in ACAD.
• Knowledge of Fire & Gas Standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related disciplines.

• Review purchase orders and highlight technical risks.
• Design, program, and commission field equipment and Fire & Gas systems.
• Design and build control panels per client requirements and standards.
• Generate detailed engineering documents for various clients.
• Coordinate with clients regarding activities, ensuring timely approvals of drawings, quality plans, safety plans, and reporting progress.
• Be well‑versed in design, assembly, installation, and commissioning of Fire & Gas systems.
• Prepare project documentation: job plan, method statements, inspection and test plans, engineering documents.
• Commission and troubleshoot field devices at project sites; prepare site service reports.
• Conduct site surveys and collect design inputs for brown‑field projects.
• Perform testing and commissioning: start‑up, FAT, IFAT, SAT, ISAT, and calibration works.
• Provide training to customers on systems and devices.
• Report to the Project Manager – Middle East & India Region.
