Deployment & Testing Engineer

Overview

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Micropolis Robotics)

Micropolis Robotics is looking for Deployment & Testing Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge autonomous systems. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in bringing our robots to life, ensuring smooth deployment, validating integration between hardware and software, and testing their performance both in simulation and in the field.

• Support the deployment and calibration of AMRs at customer sites.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for hardware-software integration.
• Perform testing in simulation environments (
  Isaac Sim, Carla, RViz
  ) and real-world conditions.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues in collaboration with software and hardware teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, outcomes, and bug reports.
• Contribute to the improvement of validation and automation pipelines.

• 2+ years of experience in Robotic System testing or autonomous vehicle deployment.
• Hands-on experience with ROS2 and real-world deployment on robotic platforms.
• Hands-on experience with simulation softwares like CARLA, and Isaac Sim
  .
• Solid understanding of robotic components: sensors, actuators, localization, planning.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for robotic system development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel for on-site deployment and client support.
