Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Dubai

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising civil engineering projects from concept to completion. The role requires hands‑on expertise in structural design, infrastructure development, project management, and compliance with international engineering standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and comprehensive experience in managing multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely execution, cost control, and quality assurance.

• Develop, review, and validate engineering designs, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical documents for civil and structural works.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities related to infrastructure, buildings, roads, and utilities to ensure smooth execution.

• Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, risk assessments, and quality audits in compliance with UAE regulations and safety standards.

• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and contractual obligations.

• Analyze structural calculations, material strength, and load factors using engineering software to optimize project performance.

• Resolve technical queries, design issues, and site challenges through proactive engineering solutions and decision‑making.

• Prepare progress reports, project schedules, cost estimates, and resource plans for internal stakeholders and clients.

• Ensure compliance with environmental guidelines, municipal approvals, and international building codes (UAE, British, ACI, ASTM, etc.).

• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers for seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

• Support project handover, commissioning stages, and documentation as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
  Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in civil / structural engineering roles within construction, infrastructure, or real estate sectors.

• Valid professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or Chartered Engineer are an added advantage.

• Experience working on UAE‑based projects with knowledge of local authority approvals (Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, etc.) is preferred.

• Proficiency in civil engineering design and analysis tools (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Primavera P6, Revit, MS Project).

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural design principles, and material science.

• Expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and vendor coordination.

• Excellent communication, leadership, team management, and stakeholder‑handling abilities.

• Hands‑on experience in site supervision, problem solving, quality control, and health & safety compliance.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under strict timelines.
