Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Purpose

To manage, supervise, and execute mechanical works for MEP projects, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, quality, safety, and project timelines. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems from design review to installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

• Review project specifications, IFC drawings, and shop drawings for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, LPG, etc.).
• Plan, schedule, and monitor mechanical construction activities to meet project milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors, and subcontractors for approvals and inspections.
• Supervise site installation works, ensuring compliance with quality standards and approved drawings.
• Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, and work inspection requests (WIRs).
• Ensure all activities follow project QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.
• Liaise with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Attend progress meetings and provide technical support to site engineers and supervisors.
• Manage testing, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning of all mechanical systems.
• Prepare as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, and assist in project handover.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 8‑12 years of experience in mechanical works for MEP construction projects (high‑rise buildings, commercial complexes, industrial, or infrastructure projects).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design & installation
