Project Manager – Plant Solutions MEA BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Project Manager executes feed, extrusion and Biofuels projects according to Andritz Feed & Biofuel standards, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and HSE objectives are achieved. The job location is to be defined based on the candidate, preferably within Turkey or the Middle East region.

The role coordinates cross-region execution (China, Asia Pacific, Europe) and interfaces with MEA Sales Managers and customers. The PM leads the integrated plan from engineering through procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning, handover to Service, and lessons learned.

Focus on Customer expectations and close co-operation with the customer throughout the complete project life cycle. You will switch between project management and, at the same time, you will drive the customer solutions and plant layout closely together with the plant designer, automation, Site management and the customer.

• Take an active part in projects from the initial scoping / sales phase to the end of the project execution of the Plant solution EPC project deliveries.
• Centre for communication between regions (Middle East & Africa, China, Asia Pacific and Europe), internal and external, in the project phases.
• Ensure quality in all work carried out
• Frequently follow up with the regional Project team to ensure progress and alignment
• Updating financial forecasting in the ERP system for the projects
• Reporting of status to the Management team
• Conduct regular project review meetings, & risk review meetings to mitigate risks
• Involved in contract preparation, quotation, technical sales support, and vendor selection
• Monitoring on-site installation activities to ensure completion of the project within the time & cost parameters
• Apply engineering principles, tools, skills and experience during project execution stages - Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning
• Prepare status, finance reports for projects to keep the customer & organization informed throughout the project life cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure projects are completed as specified by meeting time scales, quality and financial targets
• Act as center of communication across MEA, CN, APAC and EU, schedule weekly cross-regional alignment
• Lead regional projects, Plant Design, Automation, and coordinate Site installation, commissioning and startup
• Capture lessons learned and update PMO knowledge base; contribute to standard work and templates
• Serve as a single point of contact; conduct meetings with customer, MoMs, and formal handover of the project and support to Service

• Project management principles and EPC plant solution delivery lifecycle
• Plant engineering knowledge (Mechanical, Electrical, Process), ability to read 3D layouts, PFDs and P&IDs
• Experience in MS Office –MS Project, SAP – Business level written & verbal skills in English
• Able to understand basic business finance, gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc.

• Professional fluency in the English language
• Other language skills, such as Turkish or Arabic, will be advantageous

To assist the Sales department in reviewing quotations and come up with input and earlier lessons learned for solutions, and support Sales in the Quotation process, where needed

• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Participate in the confirmation of equipment specification for Automation and Service towards the customer

• project deliverables :
  Control and manage progress both internally and externally
• Projects follow up with the customer on deliveries during the whole project, incl. site erection / Installation & start-up
• Participate in Internal project review meetings for status towards the Management team
• Participate in customer site meetings to closely follow progress and status for the project for optimal customer experience

• Maintain Cost in the SAP finance system
