• Review of Contract documents related to Architectural discipline and advises the line manager on any deficiency
• Assist in co-ordination with other disciplines to ensure construct-ability.
• Review and respond to contractor submissions in a timely manner, including but not limited to Material submittals, Shop drawing, Method statements, O&M and Warranties
• Provide all necessary on-site direction
• Participate in reviewing Field design changes, related to Architectural discipline as submitted by the contractor
• Ensure all material Inspection is carried out in accordance with the specification.
• Prepare and raise non-compliance reports for defective works carried on site by the contractor
• Prepare and issue responses to SCR’s/RFI’s.
• Manage and monitor Architectural site staff.
• Identifying outstanding approvals and future issues to be addressed.
• Convene and chair regular site technical meeting and coordination meetings
• Observe site safety and issue notices as appropriate.
• Report to Resident Engineer and update on issues as required.
• Participate in contract administration, review and assessment of claims.
• Participate in planning, risk identification & resolve of issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records, including As-Built documentation.
• Coordinate closely with Closeout on the completed works for client Handover.
• Fulfilling a leadership role within the site team and mentoring to the team members.
• Achieve successful co-ordination between disciplines and manage the Quality Assurance system for the project.
• Manage, direct and supervise direct reports to satisfy the time, quality and budgetary targets, whilst meeting or exceeding Clients’ expectations.

• Degree in Architecture from a recognised Tertiary Institution.
• Postgraduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline will be highly regarded.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in major project design and/or construction.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction contract administration
• Experience in CAD and MS applications, BIM experience is an advantage
• Experience in supervising large-scale high-end commercial, retail, and Hospitality projects with interdisciplinary co-ordination
• In depth knowledge of ASTM/ International standards/ Dubai building code and UAE-FLS code.
