QA/QC Inspector - Scrap Metal & PV Modules - Solar Project
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)
Work Schedule: 10 Hours per Day | 6 Days per Week
Shift Pattern: Standard Day Shift with Flexibility for Nights, Weekends & Public Holidays
Reporting To: Company Project Representative / Oversight Committee
We are seeking experienced professionals to provide third-party witnessing and oversight services for scrap metal and PV module sales within a utility-scale solar project in Dubai.
This role is critical to ensuring compliance, verification, and documentation integrity across all material handling operations.
Role PurposeProvide independent third-party witnessing and verification services for scrap metal and PV module handling, ensuring compliance with Company-defined procedures.
Core Responsibilities Witnessing & VerificationWitness batch identification, loading, weighing, and release activities
Verify material categorization and segregation
Monitor adherence to approved handling procedures
Witness loading of approved batches only
Verify transport documentation and vehicle authorization
Monitor gate clearance and site access procedures
Confirm documentation accuracy for material release
Witness compliance with access and induction procedures
Verify PPE compliance
Monitor site movement procedures
Report HSSE violations or non-compliance
Prepare daily reports with photographic evidence
Compile monthly witnessing summaries
Prepare reconciliation and discrepancy reports
Maintain audit trails and records
Document non-conformances and corrective actions
Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection, QA/QC, logistics audit, or witnessing
Mandatory experience with PV modules and solar projects
Exposure to scrap metal or material handling operations
Strong understanding of weighbridge operations
Experience with logistics yards or utility-scale assets
Strong reporting and documentation skills
Proven independence and integrity
Renewable energy project experience
Third-party witnessing experience
Knowledge of material handling standards
Familiarity with UAE transport and handling regulations
Relevant QA/QC or auditing certifications
Strong observational skills
High attention to detail
Independent working capability
Strong reporting and documentation ability
Knowledge of HSSE compliance
Flexibility for shift work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with digital reporting systems
Strong record management capability
English: Fluent (Mandatory)
Arabic: Preferred
