We are seeking experienced Safety Officers / Safety Inspectors for MEP works on UAE main contractor projects.
Candidates with civil/building-only safety experience will NOT be considered.
Experience Requirement- Minimum 3–7 years of UAE experience
- Must have worked on MEP works under main contractor or MEP contractor
- Experience in MEP systems including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & ELV is mandatory
- Monitor and enforce HSE compliance for MEP site activities
- Conduct safety inspections for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting works
- Identify hazards related to energized systems, hot works, confined spaces, and working at height
- Carry out risk assessments and implement control measures specific to MEP activities
- Prepare and submit HSE reports, permits, and documentation
- Conduct toolbox talks focused on MEP-related risks
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts related to MEP works
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, supervisors, and site management
- Proven UAE experience in MEP safety works only
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and MEP safety standards
- Hands-on experience with electrical safety, LOTO, hot works permits, and lifting operations
- Good reporting and communication skills in English
- Arabic is an advantage
- NEBOSH / OSHA / IOSH certification required
