We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer with a focus on Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Solutions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the EV charging sector and will play a key role in driving sales, providing technical expertise, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Expertise
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of EV charging systems, including hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and propose EV charging solutions that align with technical and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and address technical queries from clients during the sales cycle.
- Identify and target potential customers, including commercial, residential, and public sector clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Deliver impactful technical presentations and live demonstrations of EV charging solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients navigating EV infrastructure implementation.
Market Analysis
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, market demands, and competitive offerings.
- Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance EV charging solutions.
Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, including technical specifications, project timelines, and cost estimates.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome.
- Hands-on experience with EV charging infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of grid integration, energy storage systems, or solar-powered charging solutions.
- Connections within the EV charging or renewable energy markets.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Advanced certifications in sales, EV technologies, or renewable energy (preferred).
- Proven track record in technical sales, with 3 to 5 years of experience (preferably in the EV charging, renewable energy, or related sectors).
- Hands-on experience with EV infrastructure projects or technical solution design (preferred for EV-specific roles).
- Strong understanding of product design, installation, and operation (specific to EV charging or relevant products). (preferred)
- Familiarity with industry standards, protocols, and technologies (e.g., OCPP, IEC standards for EV charging).(preferred)
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and basic project management software.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
- Confidence in handling technical and commercial discussions.
- UAE Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
