We are looking for a well-credentialed engineer to join our award-winning company in Dubai to work on projects both locally and internationally. The position involves the day-to-day work in a team of engineers under the supervision of our Associates and Directors. The role provides many exciting opportunities to work on interstate and international projects.
The Roleoffers the successful applicant a wide variety of opportunities and duties, including:
- Interstate and international projects.
- Working with an innovative team on high-level engineering projects.
- Undertaking structural analysis using software, spreadsheets, and hand calculations.
- Undertaking site inspections and providing site support to our Clients.
- Preparing high-quality reports and other related documents.

RICKARD ENGINEERING is an established Australian consultancy practice with over 30 years of experience, providing quality civil, structural and façade engineering services with 50% of work interstate/overseas. The practice is involved in a number of landmark projects worldwide:
North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania. The head office in Australia is located in Sydney, with the offices/representatives in Denver (US), Shanghai (China), Dubai (UAE), and London (UK).
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Tertiary Engineering Qualification in Façade/Structural Engineering.
- Experience (2+ years) in façade engineering.
- Experience (5+ years) in the design of steel/concrete structures.
- Experience using engineering software, including STRAND7, Robot, THERM, and AutoCAD (or similar software).
- Knowledge and understanding of Saudi Building Codes and American standards.
- Understanding of the Codes related to façade engineering.
- Interpersonal & communication skills, verbal & written in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
- Ability to analyse and design either with or without computer software.
- Professional Engineer (KSA) recognition is required.
