On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, We are seeking a mid-level Implementation Manager (Telecom Power & Energy Implementation) o support end-to-end delivery of power system projects for Huawei telecom sites in the UAE. You will lead DC power swap, solar integration, field team management, MOP/ATW/LLD/HLD preparation, risk assessments, and quality assurance to ensure seamless execution and SLA compliance.
This resident role requires hands‑on experience in telecom power infrastructure, strong project management skills, and coordination with vendors/subcontractors/customers for zero‑impact implementations.
- Experience: 5 years in telecom power systems implementation, including DC power swap, solar integration, and field engineering for mobile/RAN sites (e.g., Nokia, Vertiv, Huawei projects).
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands‑on experience with optical fiber (SDH splicing, OTDR/power meter testing, cable jointing).
- Proficiency in power system quality assurance, cyber security & network safety (Huawei or equivalent).
- Ability to handle complex problem‑solving, decision‑making, and attention to detail in live network environments.
- Project Management: Strong skills in team leadership, vendor management, KPI/SLA monitoring, and achieving project milestones (PAC/FAC).
- Language: Professional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Hindi (mandatory – required for coordination with Indian vendors, subcontractors, and technical documentation).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or related field.
- Location & Availability: Must be based in (or willing to relocate immediately to) Abu Dhabi, UAE for full-time on‑site/resident role; UAE Driving License preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure with cross‑functional teams.
- Lead Huawei solar system integration and DC power swap activities on live telecom sites.
- Manage end‑to‑end implementation of DC power swap and solar integration projects, ensuring zero service impact.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly field activity plans aligned with project timelines and customer requirements.
- Review and approve Method of Procedures (MOPs), Activity Task Worksheets (ATWs), Low‑Level Designs (LLD)/High‑Level Designs (HLD), and risk assessments prior to execution.
- Liaise with internal teams, vendors, clients, and subcontractors to communicate plans, changes, and priorities.
- Manage contingency planning, rescheduling, and escalation of delays, access issues, or operational risks.
- Identify planning risks and proactively mitigate impacts on delivery schedules.
- Analyze workload forecasts and capacity plans to optimize manpower allocation.
- Prepare and share daily activity reports, KPI dashboards, and plan status updates with stakeholders.
- Support year‑end and critical milestone planning to meet delivery targets without service disruption.
- Verify DC cabling, breaker sizing, and polarity before cutover; monitor post‑swap alarms and power stability with NOC.
- Achieve milestones from implementation to Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC)/Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).
