We are seeking a Safety, Health & Environment Specialist - Dubai Municipality to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical site-based role you will be responsible for driving safety, health, and environmental excellence across our project, ensuring compliance with local and international standards while promoting sustainable practices.

• Lead the development and implementation of SHE policies, procedures, and best practices
• Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on SHE matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Analyze SHE performance data and prepare detailed reports for senior management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHE considerations into project planning and execution
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to SHE protocols
• Under general supervision performs technical work in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Exhibits knowledge and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of their environmental specialty.
• Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures.
• Monitors and prevents hazards and diseases that could be found in the work area.
• Investigates accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Safety Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's) preferred
• Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in safety, health, and environment roles within the infrastructure or Dubai Municipality sector.

• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective SHE policies and procedures
• Demonstrated success in improving safety performance and environmental sustainability metrics
• In-depth knowledge of local and international SHE regulations and standards applicable to the infrastructure industry
• Strong understanding of sustainability practices in infrastructure development
• Proficiency in safety management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and environmental impact analysis
