Senior Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Site ELV Engineer to join our client's site supervision consultancy team in Dubai. The role will support the delivery of high-quality residential, high-rise and mixed-use developments, ensuring ELV systems are installed, tested and commissioned in line with design intent, specifications and local regulations.

• Act as the site-based ELV engineering lead within the site supervision consultant team
• Supervise and monitor ELV installations including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, ICT, audiovisual, BMS interfaces and security systems
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and method statements
• Carry out site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and UAE authority requirements
• Coordinate closely with contractors, specialist subcontractors and other disciplines (MEP, architectural, structural)
• Attend site meetings, inspections and coordination workshops
• Identify and report non‑conformances, monitor corrective actions and track progress
• Witness testing, commissioning and system integration activities
• Support snagging, de‑snagging, handover documentation and final project close‑out
• Provide clear technical reports and site progress updates to the Project Manager

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related discipline
• 10+ years’ experience in ELV engineering, with a strong focus on site‑based roles
• Proven UAE project experience, particularly within buildings developments
• Strong background in residential, high‑rise and mixed‑use projects
• Solid understanding of local codes, standards and authority requirements
• Experience working within a site supervision consultancy environment
• Excellent coordination, communication and reporting skills
• Able to work independently on site and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
