The Civil Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing construction activities at project sites in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations, and company quality, safety, and operational standards. The role ensures successful execution and timely completion of construction projects while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, consultants, project management teams, and authorities.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular site and performance reports.
- Implement and enforce QA/QC and HSE standards on site.
- Arrange and coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
- Supervise and lead site staff and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving capability in addressing site challenges.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration across project disciplines.
- Perform effectively under pressure while managing deadlines and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority regulations.
- Ability to read, interpret, and review engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of construction methods, site supervision practices, and inspection
