WhatYou’ll Do
- Proactively engage with MEP consultants, electrical designers, and project engineers to position 3 Phase UPS & Battery systems in the early design phase of projects and generate incremental business growth.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations to educate stakeholders on UPS technologies, compliance standards, and application benefits.
- Identify high‑potential projects in commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, and infrastructure sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and campaigns that support specification efforts.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key influencers including Tier 2 & 3 consultants, and developers.
- Lead as the primary point of contact for technical queries and project consultations throughout the design and procurement lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance on UPS sizing, configuration, redundancy, and integration with other power systems (e.g., generators, switch gear, solar).
- Interpret project requirements and propose tailored solutions that meet both technical and commercial objectives.
- Support the preparation of technical submittals, compliance documentation, and value engineering proposals.
- Monitor the progress of specified projects from concept through to execution, ensuring continuity and retention of Eaton design.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in CRM systems, including project status, stakeholder interactions, and forecasted revenue.
- A Bachelors / Masters Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ years of specification / technical sales experience driving B2B sales. Strong network with MEP & IT consultants (Tier 2 &
3).
- In‑depth knowledge of UPS technologies and ability to perform UPS sizing and load analysis.
- Understanding of power quality issues (voltage sags, harmonics, transients) and how UPS systems mitigate them.
- Familiarity with battery technologies (VRLA, Li‑ion, NiCd) and their integration with UPS systems.
- Basic knowledge of Security & ICT Network architecture and how to offer optimized power management solutions.
- Consultative & Sense‑Making selling approach are mandatory. Passion, energy, excellent ability to question, listen and articulate complex solutions, detailed note taking, highly collaborative with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to dialog and create value‑adding business interactions with all types of interlocutors from variety of backgrounds and job functions.
- Ability to navigate effectively and deliver results within a dynamic industry space with changing technologies, knowledge gaps within stakeholders and in a highly competitive environment.
- Strong presentation and people skills.
