I am currently on the lookout for a Commissioning Engineer for projects across the GCC. I am acting on behalf of a well-established and ever-growing business based out of Dubai who are operating heavily in Data Centre Industry.
This is an opportunity to join a company who has projects commencing throughout the globe with exponential growth in their Data Centre Division. As a Commissioning Engineer, you could travel across the GCC working on multiple large scale Data Centre projects.
The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering L2–L5 commissioning activities for assigned systems or areas, ensuring technical compliance, quality, and readiness for acceptance.
- Lead verification of installation readiness.
- Review and approve installation checklists, ITPs, and Method Statements.
- Ensure installations meet commissioning entry criteria.
- lan and witness commissioning of individual items of plant and equipment.
- Verify correct operation, settings, controls, and protections.
Confirm stability before progression to system testing.
L4 – System Functional Testing:- Coordinate and witness system functional tests.
- Verify sequences of operation and system responses.
- Confirm compliance with design intent and operational requirements.
- Support Integrated Systems Testing activities.
- Validate resilience and recovery outcomes for assigned systems.
- Assist in client demonstrations and acceptance activities.
- 5–8 years commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex facilities.
- Proven Data Centre or critical infrastructure exposure.
- Strong technical documentation and coordination skills.
- Mechanical or Electrical background welcome.
- L2 – L5 experience
