Operations Manager – Civil Engineering Projects

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager with extensive experience in road and infrastructure projects for a leading Tier One organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong engineering expertise, operational leadership, and commercial acumen to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and relevant contracting/engineering qualifications

• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, including FIDIC experience

• 15+ years of experience in road and infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in an Operations Manager role at Tier One companies

• Proven experience in business development and establishing new opportunities

• SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) qualifications/training

• Ability to perform effectively under high-pressure environments and tight deadlines

• Candidates should have proven business development skills, SHEQ experience, and a solid track record of leadership in high-profile projects.

• Lead, manage, and oversee road and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical, operational, and commercial excellence

• Drive project planning, scheduling, and resource management while maintaining compliance with ISO, SHEQ, and statutory requirements

• Implement operational best practices

• Manage teams, client relationships, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes

• Ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are consistently met

• Oversee commercial aspects
