Planning Engineer

We are hiring an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure, external works, and landscaping projects to support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting across multiple sites. The candidate must be capable of developing and controlling project timelines and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Educational Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Certification in Project Planning / Scheduling — Added Advantage
- Minimum 3–5 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction, infrastructure, or landscaping projects
- Strong experience in project planning, baseline schedule preparation, and work breakdown structures
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Experience in preparing project schedules, look-ahead plans, and recovery programs
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle from tender stage to project completion
- Experience in progress monitoring, tracking, and variance analysis
- Ability to prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
- Experience in resource loading and productivity tracking
- Strong coordination with project managers, site teams, QS, and procurement departments
- Ability to analyze delays and prepare time impact analysis (TIA)
- Experience supporting claims, EOT submissions, and schedule justifications
- Ability to review drawings and scope for planning inputs
- Knowledge of UAE construction practices and reporting standards preferred
- PMP or Project Controls Certification — Advantage
- Planning & Scheduling Professional certifications — Preferred
- Claims / Delay Analysis training — Added Advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Strong coordination with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and project pressure
- Proactive approach to risk and delay identification
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written);
Arabic is an added advantage
