Job Purpose
The Civil Multi-Tech is responsible for supporting the maintenance, inspection, and repair of building fabric and civil infrastructure. The role ensures facilities are maintained to high standards by carrying out preventive maintenance, responding to civil-related issues, and assisting in minor project works while adhering to safety and quality requirements.
Job Responsibilities- Assist in the maintenance and repair of building fabric elements and civil infrastructure.
- Perform routine inspections and execute minor civil and fabric repairs.
- Respond to and resolve civil-related complaints with high-quality workmanship.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks for building fabric systems.
- Support MEP technicians during coordinated maintenance activities.
- Assist in developing maintenance schedules and improvement strategies.
- Coordinate with the FM Supervisor on major repair and refurbishment works.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and company standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to maintain service quality and safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and reports.
- Minimum 5 years of overall work experience in civil or building fabric maintenance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in high-end or corporate environments.
- Technical certification or vocational training in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read drawings and basic drafting knowledge.
- Familiarity with civil/fabric materials, methods, and repair techniques.
- Understanding of local construction regulations and safety standards.
- Experience collaborating with engineers, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with strong written and spoken English.
- Professional appearance and adherence to company service standards.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
