Job Summary

If you are a Project Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to lead the end‑to‑end execution of Isolation Valve projects while working closely with customers, EPC contractors, global factories, and internal teams. This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Engage early in major project opportunities by collaborating with Sales and Application teams to provide insights on lessons learned, commercial risks, mitigation strategies, and documentation requirements.
  • Lead execution of EPC Isolation Valve projects from order intake through final delivery, ensuring alignment with Emerson's global project management processes for Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, and progress, using Primavera to plan and track milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, datasheets, drawings, and contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for EPC contractors and end customers, facilitating reviews, coordination meetings, and proactive communication.
  • Manage commercial and contractual aspects including budgets, margins, cash flow, milestone invoicing, variations, and claims in collaboration with sales and legal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering to drive timely document submissions, revisions, and approvals.
  • Interface with manufacturing teams to align production schedules with project requirements and expedite critical materials and sub‑supplier deliverables.
  • Support inspections such as FAT/SAT and third‑party assessments.
  • Uphold all applicable quality, compliance, and safety standards while driving inspection test plans, NCR resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and regular project performance updates to leadership, including KPIs such as service levels, margin uplift, forecast accuracy, penalties, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, registers, and lessons learned, and support internal/external audits.
  • Lead project close‑out activities, including lessons learned reviews and handover of installed base data to Sales to support after‑sales opportunities.

This Role, You Will Need:
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent educational background.
  • Demonstrated professional experience—typically 10 or more years—in the valves and automation industry, with a focus on project management.
  • Experience managing full project life cycles, including customer interface, contract management, scheduling, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools, including Primavera.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage commercial risks, budgets, and delivery performance within complex project environments.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with leading EPC contractors or major organizations within the valves and automation sector.
  • Professional experience in the Middle East region.
  • Familiarity with global manufacturing coordination, engineering document control processes, and industry codes/standards.
