As our footprint expands across the UAE and internationally, we are strengthening our Engineering & Development capabilities and are now looking for a Sr Engineer – Design & Infrastructure Planning International to join our team.
The Sr Engineer – Design & Infrastructure Planning International is responsible to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering activities across multiple international Data Center projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work within a multidisciplinary design environment, provide technical expertise, contribute to design development from concept to completion, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals, design quality, and engineering standards are consistently met.
Key deliverables include but not limited to:
- Conduct site visits to evaluate potential plots for new Data Centers globally.
- Liaise with government entities and local authorities to ensure compliance with electrical and technical requirements, submitting necessary justifications to obtain approvals.
- Support the preparation and review of LLE RFPs/frameworks and Electrical Systems packages, ensuring compliance with codes and design intentions.
- Provide technical mentoring and on‑the‑job guidance to junior engineers to support capability development and ensure efficient execution of tasks.
- Verify all invoices being processed for design deliverables prior to management review.
- Participate in project meetings with design consultants and contractors, providing technical input and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to verify adherence to design specifications, quality practices, and international standards.
Minimum eligibility requirements:
- 6 years of experience in design and planning of mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong exposure to international and hyperscale data centre projects.
- Expert level system knowledge, international and local standards.
- Customer facing and high technical communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple facets of the relevant engineering discipline.
