We are currently seeking a skilled Irrigation Draftsman to support the landscape and engineering teams by preparing accurate irrigation drawings and technical documentation for our projects.
Role
Description:
To prepare detailed irrigation drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings based on approved landscape and irrigation designs, ensuring accuracy, coordination with other disciplines, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed irrigation layout drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings based on approved designs.
Develop drawings for irrigation systems including pipelines, valve boxes, controllers, sprinklers, and drip irrigation systems.
Coordinate with landscape architects, civil engineers, and MEP teams to ensure proper integration of irrigation layouts.
Review and revise drawings based on engineer and consultant comments.
Ensure irrigation drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and company standards.
Prepare irrigation schematics, piping layouts, and technical detailing required for site execution.
Maintain proper documentation and version control of irrigation drawings.
Assist engineers in preparing technical layouts and design adjustments during project execution.
Ensure drawings are completed within project timelines to support construction activities.
Qualifications &
Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 4–7 years of experience as an Irrigation Draftsman, preferably in landscape or infrastructure projects.
Strong experience in preparing irrigation layouts, pipeline drawings, and system schematics.
Experience working on large-scale landscape or infrastructure developments.
UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for irrigation drafting.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape irrigation design standards.
Strong understanding of piping layouts and irrigation components.
Attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and meet project deadlines.
