Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures to ensure they are safe, sustainable, and meet all regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and cost-efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural theory, materials science, and engineering principles, coupled with hands-on experience using computer-aided design software and structural analysis tools. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential buildings to large-scale commercial and infrastructure developments. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in reviewing project plans, conducting site inspections, and providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze structural requirements and develop engineering plans ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Design and model structural components using CAD and structural analysis software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams throughout project development.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to design specifications.
- Evaluate existing structures to determine required repairs or improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and cost estimates for structural projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance during construction and address any engineering issues that arise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
- Proficient in structural design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or SAP
2000. - Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams.
