Industrialization Program Engineer

We are seeking an Industrialization Program Engineer to manage the Site Transfer Project (from Eaton plant or EMS) & New Project Introduction projects, structured by the Pro Launch process. The role will manage manufacturing plant resources assigned for introduction of transferred or new projects, from Gate 0 to Gate 5, and act as a representative of the manufacturing plant in the project team.

Applications are related to Eaton Electronic board and finished goods production for several Eaton divisions.

What you’ll do
  • Program manager for the STP Pro Launch project directed to Dubai Manufacturing plant, leading a multi‑site team (EATON R&D, manufacturing plants, and other division actors) to ensure production starts in expected quality, cost, and timeline constraints.
  • Active member of the NPI project team, representing Dubai manufacturing plant’s organization and participating in STP Pro Launch projects for transfers outside Dubai plant.
  • Responsible for manufacturing deliverables during the Pro Launch process through gates.
  • Ensure industrialization activities completion, schedule management, budget tracking, and project reporting from the manufacturing side.
  • Serve as the project team/manufacturing plant point of contact during the industrialization phase and ramp‑up until capacity, quality, and budget targets are reached.
  • Optimize and maintain robust, cost‑efficient manufacturing processes and product structures consistent with lean manufacturing practices, mindful of electronic processes (SMD & assembly) and test capabilities; assist with root‑cause and failure analysis as required.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and apply lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronic industrialization, preferably as an Industrialization Program Engineer.
Skills
  • Electronic manufacturing process knowledge and understanding.
  • Experience in industrial activities scheduling, budgeting, reporting and tracking supplier activities to secure schedule, quality, and budget.
  • Ability to lead a multi‑skill team (SCM, manufacturing engineering, quality, production, EHS, …).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong data‑analytic skillset.
  • Good interpersonal skills and planning ability.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ethical conduct and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience managing multicultural teams is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of SMT/wave soldering technology, mechatronic assembly and testing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, SAP, Enovia, SAP BW, and Microsoft Project.
