The HSE Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies across project sites and operations. The role ensures compliance with company standards, client requirements, and local regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture and minimizing workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all employees, subcontractors, and visitors are properly inducted on project HSE requirements and safety procedures.
- Implement and monitor the Site HSE Management Plan to ensure compliance with company policies and project safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE documentation, training records, incident reports, certifications, and safety statistics as per project requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety awareness sessions, and HSE training programs for site personnel.
- Monitor the availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across the site.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Support project and construction teams in implementing safe working practices and maintaining compliance with safety procedures.
- Ensure all HSE reports, records, and documentation are updated and available for audits and inspections.
- Monitor project HSE KPIs and ensure timely reporting to management and clients.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or related projects.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and ISO standards.
- Good communication, reporting, and incident investigation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.
