Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer with experience in water Drainage and Storm water Networks in Dubai.

The selected candidate shall have a Civil Engineering Degree and 20 years of extensive experience working Drainage and Storm water Network projects.

Qualifications:

• Resident Engineer must have 20 years of experience in Drainage and Storm water Networks
• The Resident Engineer must have degree in civil engineering from a recognized University and must have thoughtful knowledge and work experience of not less than 15 years in infrastructure works. Candidate must be able to take on the spot decisions and be able to deal with all Service Authorities. Candidate must have a thoughtful knowledge and experience in dealing with pipelines, Cables, Sewers, Manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection Chambers and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings.
  
  Candidate must have also through knowledge and experience in the design of infrastructure works.
• The Resident Engineer must have full and complete knowledge of the existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai
• Familiar with the DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance, Quantity Surveying and Project Network Techniques (Primavera)
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Primavera.
• Confident in his own ability to control the Works.
• Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, and reports and cost estimates.
• Capacity to make decision.
• Ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure Authorities
