Resident Engineer Residential Development; Civil Infrastructure
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department you will oversee and manage large-scale construction projects for private developers ensuring quality safety and compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities- Provide on-site engineering expertise and leadership throughout all phases of construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors and clients to ensure project goals and timelines are met
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings and specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards and environmental regulations
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies as needed
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
Masters degree preferred - Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering with at least 5 years in a senior resident engineer role
- Proven experience working with private developers on large-scale construction projects
- Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in project management software and CAD applications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices
- Understanding of contract management and dispute resolution
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
