Job Description
BG Global is hiring a Senior Engineer – QS Costing – MEP for a leading Tier 1 contracting company in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented professional with expertise in high‑rise building projects to lead MEP quantity surveying, costing, estimation, and commercial activities across large‑scale developments. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities- Lead quantity surveying and costing activities for MEP works across high‑rise construction projects
- Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, tender documents, and quantity take‑offs
- Monitor project budgets, variations, claims, and cost control activities to ensure commercial efficiency
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for costing and contractual matters
- Evaluate quotations, subcontractor pricing, and procurement costs to optimise project budgets
- Prepare project cost reports, payment certifications, and commercial documentation
- Ensure all commercial and costing activities comply with project standards and contractual requirements
- Support project planning and provide commercial recommendations to management teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E /
B.Tech) is mandatory - 8–15 years of experience in QS Costing – MEP within the construction industry
- Mandatory experience in high‑rise building projects in the UAE/GCC
- Strong knowledge of MEP quantity surveying, estimation, budgeting, and contract management
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
- Salary with benefits as per industry standards
