Mechanical Draughtsman – 2D​/3D CAD; AutoCAD, Revit

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Draughtsman with a solid background in mechanical engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest versions of AutoCAD and REVIT 3D, and have hands-on experience with various calculation and piping software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical components and systems.
• Manage design projects independently, including coordination of drawings and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Provide accurate estimations for fire fighting systems.
• Translate rough sketches and verbal instructions into precise technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to understand and implement project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on stakeholder feedback.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation.
• Assist in preparing engineering reports and documentation.
• Conduct quality checks to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
• Stay current with advancements in drafting technology and software.
• Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy throughout the drafting process.
  Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a draughtsman within the mechanical industry.
• Proven experience working on projects in the manufacturing or construction sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to think critically and address complex design challenges independently.
