Process Manager: Water, Wastewater & Solid Waste
We are looking for a Process Manager who will lead the process design, coordination, and technical delivery of water, wastewater, and solid waste treatment projects.
You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle — from concept development and detailed design through procurement support, construction support, testing, commissioning, and performance validation. The role ensures that process solutions are technically sound, compliant, and aligned with project quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
In this multidisciplinary role, you act as the main process lead across project teams, coordinating with consultants, suppliers, technology providers, and technical disciplines to support the successful delivery of treatment facilities.
Your ContributionProcess Design & Technical Delivery
• Lead and manage process design activities for water, wastewater, and solid waste treatment projects
• Oversee process-related activities throughout concept design, detailed design, procurement support, construction support, testing, commissioning, and performance validation
• Review and validate process calculations, design criteria, process flow diagrams, mass balances, equipment selection, and technical submissions
• Ensure process designs comply with safety, quality, budget, schedule, contractual, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external designers, consultants, technology providers, suppliers, and specialist subcontractors
• Provide process-related input to civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls teams
• Support coordinated project delivery through effective multidisciplinary collaboration
• Act as the key process interface between project teams, consultants, suppliers, authorities, and clients
• Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, value engineering activities, and technical problem-solving related to process performance and project delivery
• Support procurement teams with technical evaluation of suppliers, equipment packages, and specialist subcontractors
• Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance guarantee activities
• Ensure compliance with local standards, environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and industry best practices
Education & Experience
• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, ideally with specialization in water and/or wastewater treatment
• Strong experience in process design and delivery of water, wastewater, and/or solid waste treatment projects
• Previous experience in a Process Manager, Lead Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, or similar technical leadership role
• Experience with in GCC or regional project environments is preferred
• Good understanding of treatment technologies, process equipment, commissioning requirements, and performance testing
• Experience managing multidisciplinary interfaces and coordinating consultants, suppliers, technology providers, and specialist subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of standards, environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and industry best practices related to water and wastewater treatment
• Ability to review technical documents, identify risks, challenge designs, and propose practical solutions
• Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Analytical and solution-oriented approach within multidisciplinary project environments
