Job Role:
Monitoring utility consumption closely and analyzing trends in facility operations to establish baseline measurements, facilitating the development of investment-grade audit reports.
Creating cost estimates for energy conservation initiatives and drafting Statements of Work (SOW) for tendering out retrofit packages.
Producing monthly Measurement & Verification (M&V) reports for contracted facilities and coordinating progress meetings with clients.
Performing ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 audits on facilities, including conducting conditional surveys and devising energy conservation strategies.
Responsibilities:
Conducting site audits and compiling Investment Grade Audit (IGA) reports.
Drafting Statements of Work (SOW) for retrofit package tenders and vendor selection.
Overseeing the implementation of energy conservation measures outlined in the IGA.
Generating monthly Measurement & Verification (M&V) reports for ongoing projects.
Contract Management Responsibilities:
Ensuring all contracted work is executed in compliance with the terms of the contract.
Monitoring adherence to timelines and identifying any issues that may impact the execution and completion of the work.
Supply Chain Management Responsibilities:
Daily oversight of subcontractors and consumables.
Implementing and monitoring subcontractor performance.
Employing best value management techniques within contracts.
Service Standards Responsibilities:
Enforcing expected service standards for service providers and subcontractors.
Ensuring all work meets the required health and safety standards throughout projects.
Reporting:
Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, with the objective of keeping the management informed about all issues relating to operations
Required Skills:
Proficiency in theoretical and practical knowledge of MEP services, encompassing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution across various building types and facilities.
Ability to conduct energy audits for facilities, devise energy conservation strategies, oversee implementation, and generate measurement and verification reports to ensure targeted savings are attained.
Experience in conducting feasibility studies for solar retrofits, preparing feasibility reports, and executing retrofits where applicable.
Competence in preparing tender documents for contractors and collaborating with relevant government agencies as needed.
Capability to conduct gap and risk assessment analyses and develop action plans for mitigation purposes.

Qualifications Required:
Certification as a Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor.
Bachelor’s degree holder in Electrical or Mechanical discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum Experience Required:
2-4 years of pertinent experience in ESCO Projects within the UAE.
Practical experience in utilizing audit equipment and conducting energy analysis.
