Senior Engineer

Position Overview

Structural Technologies, a leading firm specializing in forensic engineering for heavy industrial structures, is expanding its presence in Dubai. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team.

• Participate and lead initial project studies and help develop the sales approach.
• Understand technical issues and their impact on project cost and schedule.
• Resolve technical and construction issues with third parties (customer, engineers, suppliers, officials).
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate documents and activities for major projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise one or two junior engineers.
• Develop plan and delegate to team members to deliver the project per customer requirements.
• Make timely decisions after obtaining input from others to maintain team progress.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety culture and company operating principles.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• SE registration at DM and SOE membership is an advantage.
• Knowledge of regulations, industry codes, and standards.
• Advanced understanding of repair materials and strengthening solutions.
• Ability to develop advanced structural models and perform gravity and lateral analysis using ETABS, SAFE, SAP
  2000, or RAM concept.
• Experience with prestressing and post-tensioning software such as ADAPT PT and ADAPT Floor.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to conduct technical presentations and effective meetings.
