Senior Multi Discipline Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Multi-Disciplined Inspector to oversee and coordinate inspection activities across multiple disciplines (Mechanical, Welding, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Coating) within the incumbent will be accountable for ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and client quality requirements, while leading inspection teams and providing technical expertise across disciplines.

Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary inspection activities across piping, welding, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and coating works.

Conduct and review inspections in accordance with project Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), quality standards, and Aramco/International specifications.

Validate contractors’ and subcontractors’ compliance with approved drawings, procedures, and quality management systems.

Monitor construction, fabrication, and installation activities to ensure quality deliverables and timely execution.

Perform technical reviews of welding procedures, coating procedures, and electrical/instrumentation test packages.

Prepare and issue detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring proper corrective actions.

Interface with project stakeholders (engineering, construction, QA/QC, HSE, and client representatives) to resolve quality concerns.

Lead and mentor discipline inspectors to strengthen technical performance and ensure adherence to best practices.

Support final acceptance and handover processes by ensuring complete documentation and quality dossiers.

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil or equivalent).

Certification in NACE Coating, AWS-CWI, CSWIP, API, or equivalent discipline-specific certifications.

Minimum 10–15 years’ inspection experience in oil & gas, pipeline, or petrochemical projects, with at least 5 years in a senior/multi-discipline role.

Strong knowledge of Aramco standards, International Codes (ASME, API, ISO, IEC), and QA/QC methodologies.

Proven experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary inspection teams.

Broad technical expertise across multiple disciplines (Mechanical, Welding, E&I, Civil, Coating).

Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in interpreting drawings, procedures, codes, and client specifications.

Excellent reporting, documentation, and analytical skills.

Ability to resolve quality issues under pressure while maintaining compliance.
