Junior Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for various engineering projects by gathering and analyzing project specifications and requirements.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and material costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Utilize estimation software and tools to create detailed cost breakdowns and reports ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scopes and deliverables, facilitating effective communication and alignment.
• Support the preparation of bid proposals by compiling cost estimates and necessary documentation in an organized manner.
• Assist in risk analysis by identifying potential cost overruns and proposing cost‑saving measures during the estimation process.
• Review and analyze project changes, assessing their impact on overall costs and updating estimates accordingly.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 2‑3 years of relevant work experience in construction estimation or a related field is essential.
• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry standards is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce actionable insights.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when required.
