Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs and maintain financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and process progress payments, variations, and claims in coordination with the client and contractors.
• Conduct cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering exercises to optimize project expenditure.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate measurement and cost reporting.
• Maintain records of all contractual documents, correspondence, and change orders.
• Assist in procurement, tender evaluation, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to RTA standards, Dubai Municipality regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on project costs, forecasts, and financial performance for senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Dubai, in quantity surveying for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably RTA projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, UAE construction laws, and RTA project specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with roadworks, utilities, and large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
