Responsibilities
- Develop detailed infrastructure drawings including roads, utilities, and site layouts that adhere to engineering specifications and local regulations.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) to create precise 2D and 3D models and construction documents for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret designs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings reflecting any changes made during construction for record‑keeping and future reference.
- Holds a Diploma or Associate's degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Possesses a minimum of 3‑5 years of proven experience in infrastructure drafting, specializing in roads, utilities, and site development.
- Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, with the ability to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
- Has a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction practices, and relevant industry standards (e.g., AASHTO, local codes).
