In UAE, Siemens Mobility is delivering the signalling, telecom, and power supply systems for the 303 km Abu Dhabi‑Sohar railway, which marks the first cross‑country railway network in the Middle East connecting the UAE and Oman. Today we are recruiting for a Site Quality Engineer to join our team in UAE. What

are my responsibilities?
  • Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage quality documentation—ITPs, checklists, reports.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to identify issues and ensure quality compliance.
  • Review installations, materials, and test results for accuracy and standards adherence.
  • Support installation and commissioning teams with method statements and quality requirements.
  • Track non‑conformities and punch items and ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze and report quality performance—KPIs, NCRs, audits.
  • Coordinate with teams, contractors, and clients on quality matters.
  • Implement QMS and ISO
    9001 standards and support internal audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement and deliver quality training.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 3–5 years experience in railway signalling or similar projects
  • Knowledge of railway systems, safety standards, and ISO
    9001:2015
  • ISO
    9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification (required)
  • Familiarity with quality tools and problem‑solving methods (Six Sigma is a plus)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manage documentation
  • Proficiency in computer tools and reporting
  • Willingness to travel and work on‑site, and a valid driving license
