Prepare and review detailed electrical shop drawings in line with project specifications and standards. Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and authorities to obtain approvals for drawings and scope-related submissions.
Responsibilities- Manage and track all authority submissions, ensuring timely approvals and compliance.
- Liaise with relevant authorities for project approvals, inspections, and documentation.
- Ensure all electrical designs and submissions comply with local regulations and authority requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical shop drawings and authority coordination.
- Proven experience working with UAE authorities, including:
- RTA (street lighting, traffic signals, ITS)
- DEWA-ED (high‑voltage works)
- DEWA-WD (SCADA systems)
- Chilled water systems, particularly SCADA‑related work
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of submission and approval processes in the UAE.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines efficiently.
