MEP Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage MEP cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Evaluate and price Variation Orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate cost planning.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
• Manage subcontractor valuations, payments, and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and project requirements.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project standards.

• Strong understanding and experience in pricing and measurement of cable tray, ladder systems, and associated supports, brackets, and fittings.
• Experience with trunking and conduit systems (PVC, GI), including routing and accessories.
• Knowledge of containment supports and fixings such as hangers, brackets, channels, and installation materials.
• 5–10 years’ experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor.
• Must have UAE contractor experience (main contractor preferred).
• Strong experience working on high‑rise commercial, residential, mixed‑use, or hospitality projects.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, DCD, Municipality).
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Preferred:
  Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working with Tier1 contractors in the UAE.
