Graduate Engineer Trainee - Planning - MEP

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed MEP project plans encompassing scope, resources, and timelines, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
• Conduct thorough reviews of MEP designs, drawings, and specifications, identifying potential clashes and proposing effective solutions to optimize constructability.
• Collaborate closely with MEP engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and ensure timely execution of project activities.
• Monitor project progress against the established plan, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations or delays, and providing regular status updates.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting minutes, ensuring all information is readily accessible.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budget tracking, and change order management for MEP-related work packages.
• Perform site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and contribute to optimization of planning processes.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant codes and regulations to enhance planning effectiveness.
• Support the project team in the preparation of bid packages, tender evaluations, and contractor selection processes.

• Exhibits proficiency in using planning software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
• Has strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex project challenges.
• Shows excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
