Offersexpertiseindevelopmentandupdatingstrategicandfive-yeartransportplansalignedwithurbandevelopment,economicandpopulationforecasts,globaltrends,andbudgetscenarios.
Determinerights-of-wayrequirementsandcoordinatewithconcernedauthoritiestoreserveorfreezethem.
Providesinputinanalyzingdataandsettargetsforstrategicpublictransportshare
KPIswithconcernedagencies.
Identifyprioritiesofstrategicroadandtransportinfrastructureprojectswhenupdatingthestrategictransportationplan.
Identifyannualprioritiesandbudgetsfortransportationinfrastructureprojectsduringbudgetingcyclesincoordinationwithproject-owningdepartmentsandbasedon
Portfolio
Management information.
Reviewstudies,legislations,andplansrelatedtoroadsandtransportationfromexternalpartiesorconcernedinstitutionsandmaketechnicalobservations.
OperationsOffersexpertiseinthedevelopment,updating,andmaintainingthe
Dubai Transport Planning Modelusingspecializedsurveys ,collecteddata,andnetworkamendments;issuetheupdatedmodeltointernalandexternalusers.
Offersexpertiseindevelopmentandupdatingthe
DSTMtechnicalmanualandprovidetechnicalsupportandtraininginsideandoutsidethe
Authorityasneeded.
Providetechnicalsupportandparticipateinthereviewandfollow-upofrelevantstrategictransportationprojectsandstudiesfor
Authorityentitiesandlocal/external(includingfederal) parties.
Reviewmajordevelopers’projectsandcost-sharingagreementsinlinewithapplicablelawandprovidefeedbacktothe
Traffic
Departmentwhererequired.
Maintainplanningdatasetsandinputsthatinformpublictransportsharetargets,reflectingvalidatedagencyfeedback.
Participateinurbanplanningstudiesandprojectsaimedatencouragingmasstransportandsustainableandsoftmobilitymodesincoordinationwithconcernedauthorities.
Strengthencoordinationmechanismswithconcernedauthoritiestoconfirmpriorities,dependencies,andbudgetimplicationsduringstrategicandannualcycles.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s/Master’sdegreein
Engineering/Transportation Engineering/Civil Engineering/Urban/Transport Planning/Transport Economics/Data Analytics - Musthave9+yearsincaseof
Master’sdegree(11+yearsincaseof
Bachelor’sdegree) - Project Management(PMP/PRINCE2);advancedtransportmodeling&analytics;
GIS(ArcGIS/QGIS);
KPI/strategicperformancemonitoring;stakeholdercoordinationandtechnicalreporting
