Overview

Graduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program. The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to enhance the transition from student to professional. Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.

The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc.). We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveying Graduate to join our cost management team in Dubai, UAE. This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive construction cost management services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with pre-contract duties such as cost modelling, cost planning, benchmarking, value and risk analysis, attending design meetings, procurement activities, and preparation of contract documentation.
  • Support post-contract activities including attending site progress meetings, managing valuations, financial reporting, due diligence, and change control procedures.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within diverse teams, contributing actively to project delivery.
  • Engage with mentoring and professional development opportunities to support your journey towards chartership.
Qualifications
  • Recently graduated or final year student in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong motivation to develop technical and professional skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
  • If you hold a Master’s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor’s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
