Specification Manager (UAE & Oman)
The Specification Manager plays a crucial role in driving the specification pipeline, developing architects, and leading country-specific initiatives within the company.
Responsibilities- Developing and updating product specifications across the company's portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Engaging with and building relationships with specifiers to leverage technical and service offerings.
- Reviewing, approving, and maintaining the accuracy and completeness of product specifications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams—product development, engineering, marketing, regulatory—to ensure stakeholder requirements are met.
- Conducting research and analysis on industry trends, customer needs, and regulatory guidelines to keep specifications current.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines, securing necessary certifications and approvals.
- Managing documentation related to product specifications, maintaining records, and ensuring currency.
- Providing technical support to internal teams and external customers, ensuring clear understanding of specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical specification or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Technical knowledge of the products and services offered by the company.
- Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management tools.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
