Our client is seeking an International Renewable Energy Expert to lead specialised tasks within a national agrivoltaics project in Uganda. This role is suited for a senior renewable energy professional with international experience, strong research capabilities, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
As part of the project team, you will support the team leader in planning, implementing, and completing the assignment within the contract period of January to May 2026
. You will participate in an extensive desk review
, providing technical input into the Inception Report and ensuring alignment with global agrivoltaics best practices.
A key responsibility will be the organisation of stakeholder consultations
, working closely with GIZ and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD). You will draft high-quality consultation reports, highlighting insights, potential risks, and opportunities for Uganda’s agrivoltaics sector.
A central output of your work will be the drafting of the National Guidelines on Agrivoltaics
, a document that will guide future development, regulation, and investment in the sector. You will also support the facilitation of agrivoltaics task force meetings, ensuring technical coherence and alignment among key institutions.
This position requires strong analytical capability, excellent writing skills, and a deep understanding of renewable energy systems, policy frameworks, and international best practices.
