Sales Technical Support Engineer – Smoke Management Systems Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Sales Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in Smoke Management Systems to join our innovative team. This role combines technical expertise with sales support, where you will assist in specifying, designing, and implementing smoke management solutions. As a key player in the sales process, you will provide critical support to our internal teams and customers, ensuring the effective delivery of complex technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support for Sales Team:
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions using our smoke management system capabilities.
Deliver pre-sales support through product demonstrations, presentations, and technical specifications.
Contribute to creating and reviewing technical proposals, bid specifications, and system designs.
Address technical queries from clients, contractors, and consultants regarding smoke management systems and related products.
System Design & Configuration:
Guide system design and integration, ensuring smoke management systems are appropriately applied in diverse environments.
Work with customers and engineering teams to configure customized solutions for specific project needs.
Conduct calculations and simulations (e.g., airflow analysis, fan sizing) to validate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications or additional training in smoke management, fire safety, or HVAC systems are highly desirable.

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in a technical support or sales engineering role, with a preference for experience in smoke management systems or a related field.

Strong knowledge of smoke and heat venting systems, fire safety regulations, and HVAC systems.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel for client meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits, domestically and internationally, as needed.
