AutoCAD Draftsman

Position Overview

We are seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to join our team, responsible for generating precise 2D drawings using AutoCAD software. Candidates should have meticulous attention to detail and excel in independent work settings.

• Develop 2D CAD drawings for ELV & Security Projects such as Structured Cabling, CCTV, ACS, Gate Barrier, Parking Management System, GRMS, and BMS.
• Utilize AutoCAD to program 2D CAD drawings effectively.
• Analyze architectural and structural drawings, blueprints, and related documents to draft specifications, quantities, and drawings for proposed work.
• Employ CAD software to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
• Generate shop drawings and bills of materials and facilitate material procurement as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and promptly communicate shortages or excesses to management.
• Create models, shop drawings, and 3D representations, and conduct testing on prototypes.

• Proficiency in building codes, standards, and practices, particularly Etisalat and DU standards, Sira Requirements (Dubai), MCC Requirements (Ahu), and SSD and SVG Drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies technologies, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.

• Minimum of 3 years of drafting experience in ELV and Security Systems, with a demonstrated history using AutoCAD.
• Certification in AutoCAD.
