Job Role Description

Assessing system and network vulnerabilities, identifying deviations from approved configurations or policies, evaluating the effectiveness of multi-layered defense mechanisms, and conducting authorized penetration testing using realistic attack scenarios to assess security posture and uncover potential vulnerabilities.

• Perform vulnerability scanning on systems, assets, and web applications
• Use security testing tools and code‑scanning solutions to review source code
• Prepare detailed reports of test results including risk levels and remediation actions
• Present and discuss findings with management and IT teams
• Design and develop penetration testing processes
• Develop testing methodologies and frameworks
• Design attack simulation scenarios
• Correlate incident data to identify vulnerabilities
• Prepare audit and assessment reports
• Conduct both technical and non-technical risk assessments
• Perform or support penetration testing activities
• Gather and analyze network architecture information
• Conduct social engineering simulations
• Identify and apply vulnerability exploitation techniques
