Design Engineer -Steel Structure/Sheet Metal

Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures
- Design and verify steel members and connections in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes
- Prepare detailed design calculations and technical reports
- Coordinate with drafting, fabrication and site teams
- Review shop drawings and resolve technical queries
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and industry best practices
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structure design
- Strong experience in steel member design and steel‑concrete & steel‑steel connection design
- Experience in industrial, commercial, and building steel structures
- Good knowledge of AISC, BS, and Eurocode standards
- Proficient in ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAP
2000, RAM Connection, and IDEA Stati Ca - Ability to prepare design calculations, reports, and review fabrication drawings
- Strong problem‑solving, coordination, and communication skills
- Experience in high‑rise and complex steel structures
- Knowledge of BIM and 3D modeling software is an advantage
