Design And Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design specifications and drawings that meet project requirements ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Conduct thorough cost estimation and analysis for project proposals using advanced software tools to ensure competitiveness and feasibility
• Review and evaluate supplier and contractor bids providing insightful recommendations based on technical and financial assessments
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential challenges during the design and estimation phases proposing innovative solutions to mitigate them
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify designs demonstrating a high level of proficiency and creativity in visualizing engineering concepts
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including reports and presentations to communicate design decisions and estimation findings to clients and team members
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, materials and technologies to continuously enhance design methodologies and estimation accuracy
• Lead design reviews and estimation meetings fostering a collaborative environment that encourages input and feedback from diverse team members
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and safety standards throughout the design and estimation processes minimizing risks to the project and organization

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is essential to ensure a strong technical foundation
• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in design and estimation roles within the construction or manufacturing industries
• Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Revit, or Solid Works is crucial for creating precise and innovative designs
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration with international teams and clients
• Proven experience in Fire fighting systems, enabling effective coordination of design and estimation tasks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities, allowing for creative solutions to emerging challenges in design and estimation
